Chris grew up roaming the grounds of the Canmore Golf & Curling Club from the day he could walk. Living in the Rocky Mountains meant golf wasn't necessarily the primary activity in the area but would soon develop to be a great passion for Chris.
After having a successful junior golf career, Chris made the decision to commit to the University of Central Arkansas where he played four years NCAA division 1 golf ultimately finishing with a business degree in finance.
After graduating from University Chris made the decision to return home to the Rocky Mountains where he began his journey as a PGA of Canada Apprentice Golf Professional. Spending his first two seasons as a professional at the Canmore G&CC, Chris was fortunate enough to join the Kananaskis Country Golf Course team as an apprentice professional for the 2018 & 2019 seasons reopening after the devastating floods in 2013. In 2019, Chris was fortunate enough to be selected by his peers as the recipient of the 2019 PGA of Canada Moe Norman Apprentice professional of the year.
From here in 2020, Chris took on the position of Head Golf Professional at Silvertip Resort where he is entering his fourth season. Chris enjoys working with all levels of the game with a relaxed approach and emphasizes swinging your swing to get the ball where it needs to go.
